Critical-thinking Skills

Within the unique IBCP core, students become critical thinkers who understand the interdisciplinary nature of learning. They are encouraged to develop reasoning skills, problem-solving skills and lateral thinking skills.

Maturity and Responsibility

The IBCP assists students in developing time management, goal setting, and other organizational skills.

Work Ethic

In addition to a local vocational qualification, students complete a rigorous and demanding IB certificate. To succeed in both courses requires hard work, determination and perseverance.

Presentation Skills

IBCP students are encouraged to use technology to help deliver relevant, effective and memorable presentations.

Teamwork

IBCP students have experience in, and with working in teams and know how to support each other in achieving desired goals.

Independence

While the IBCP emphasizes teamwork, it also encourages and helps build confidence for students to work independently.
